It's a quality product from GI brand, which are being used for bicycle lighting from two decades. There is 12 Volts of current generation with 6 watt power. The Outer metallic surface of dynamo and clamps are nickel coated, The dynamo is powered by motion of it's gear through frictional contact with bicycle wheel. There are thimble ended connecting wires included for negative and positive terminal connections. This product is best suited for cycling enthusiasts or DIY science projects to produce electricity through rotational motion of wheel or belt. Please Note: It provides AC output so the live/positive terminal is the bottom bolt (having two nuts to hold the wire) and the ground/negative is the outer Metallic body (any metal part on the surface of dynamo, which here is the other bolt with one nut) The dynamo needs to be grounded when it's operating for completing the circuit, PLEASE DO NOT BE IN CONTACT WITH THE DYNAMO WHEN IT'S NOT GROUNDED as it may use human contact for grounding which would further give minor shock sensation.
