It has an IR transmitter remote which can give signal to the controller to set the different voltages on color lines to produce the expected color. It needs a 12V power supply for which you can use a SMPS and maximum output current is 6A. This controller box operates on 12Volt DC supply via onboard 5mm female DC port. At the other end, it has 4 Pin Output female connector which can be connected to RGB strip directly. The controller box can operate at up to 6A current which means you can run 5 meters RGB Strip easily on this controller.
